Privacy policy
Last updated:
The short version: this site uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn’t follow you around the web. The only data handled is the technical minimum needed to serve it, plus anonymous visit statistics.
Who is responsible
Diogo Oliveira (azon), Viseu, Portugal. For any privacy question, write to diogoliveira1510@gmail.com.
What data is handled
Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). As with any website, to deliver the pages the server receives technical data about each request: IP address, browser, operating system, requested page and time. Cloudflare uses it to serve the site and protect it from abuse, and I don’t use it to identify you.
Visit statistics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to know how many people visit the site and which pages they see. It uses no cookies or local storage, builds no profile of you and doesn’t recognise you across visits. The data is aggregated: page views, the site you came from, country, browser and device type, and load times.
Email. If you write to me, I keep your address and whatever you send, only to reply. I don’t share it with anyone and I delete it once it is no longer needed for the conversation.
There are no forms, accounts, ads or social media pixels. Fonts and images are served from this same domain.
Why (legal basis)
Technical data and statistics are processed on the basis of legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure, and in understanding whether it is useful (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Emails are processed because you chose to contact me and I reply (Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which Cloudflare has joined, and by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Details are in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Links to other sites
The site links to GitHub, LinkedIn and projects of mine on other domains. When you follow them, their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and to object to its processing. Just write to the email above. If you think your data was mishandled, you can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
Using this site
This site is a personal portfolio and its content is for information only. The texts, the avatar and the pixel-art illustrations belong to Diogo Oliveira. Please don’t reuse them without permission, though sharing links is very welcome. I’m not responsible for the content of external sites I link to. Portuguese law applies.
